Also for the shark enthusiast. We have about 99% sighting records for these two sharks. The Great White's are encountered in Gansbaai and this is cage diving. The Tiger Sharks are encountered off Aliwal Shoal and this is free diving.

 

Please remember that all Tiger Shark dives are conditional that there are a minimum of 4 divers doing Tiger dives on the same days. The operator only goes out if they have a minimum of 4 divers. However we can always switch this itinerary around between diving Aliwal with Sea Forever and Protea with African Odyssea to accommodate your Tiger dives. We have never not been able to accommodate a client's Tiger dive, but just to be safe we need to bring this to your attention. 

• Day 01 Arrive Cape Town International Airport, own arrangements. On arrival you will be met for the two hour road transfer to Gansbaai. This transfer takes you through some spectacular mountain passes and onto Gansbaai. Rest of the day free. Overnight at Saxon Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis. 
• Day's 2 & 3 After an early breakfast you will be collected from Saxon Lodge for 5 hours spent at sea cage diving with the Great White's of Gansbaai, weather permitting. On return to harbour you will have the rest of the day free to explore the White Shark capital of the world, Gansbaai. Overnight at Saxon Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis.
• Day 04. Spend 5 hours at sea cage diving with the Great White's. After the dive you will transfer back to Cape Town International Airport where you will board the 2 hour domestic flight to Durban, own arrangements. On arrival at Durban Airport you will collect your Rental Car and drive 45 minutes south to the town of Umkomaas on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast. During the course of the evening you will be contacted by our dive centre to discuss the diving. The Dive Centre is in the same building as the lodge
  Overnight at Aliwal Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis. 
• Day's05  to 07. At a time advised the previous evening you will be collected from Sea Forever for the short transfer to assemble on the beach to sign the necessary indemnity forms and for the pre dive planning. You will then board the "Rubber Duck" (Zodiac) for 5 hours at sea - free diving with the Tiger's of Africa, weather permitting. On return to the beach you will transfer back to Sea Forever and the rest of the day is free. Overnight at Aliwal Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis. 
• Day 08 After breakfast drive back to Durban Airport to drop of your rental car or continue on wiTh your holiday.
