Mozambique Scuba Diving Holiday to Marlin Lodge - Benquerra Island.

The warm topical waters surrounding the Bazaruto Archipelago are home to some of nature’s finest marine life. A spectacular variety of fish, coral, marine mammals and plants wait to be explored by divers and snorkellers.

Led by a resident PADI qualified diving instructor, diving sites and depths are varied along all levels of diving experience. We also have an on-site diving centre with all the necessary equipment.

Water temperatures range from 28°C in summer (30°C between December and February) to 22°C during the winter months. The various dive sites can be reached with our 27-ft catamaran Novacat, equipped to accommodate 8 divers and their equipment. All dives take place at locations as determined by Marlin Lodge’s dive instructor.

Itinerary in brief

Day 1 Depart from Jhb Int airport with LAM (flights depart every morning) and fly to Vilanculos in Mozambique. Flight time is approx 2 hours. On arrival at Vilanculos you will be met by our representatives and transfer by light aircraft to Benquerra Island. The rest of the day is free to relax and discuss the diving plans with the PADI dive centre at the lodge.
Day 2 - 6 Scuba Diving in Bazaruto - 2 scuba dives per day (subject to weather conditions)
Day 7 Your last day at Marlin Lodge to relax before you depart the following morning.
Day 8 The lodge will transfer you directly back to Vilanculos airport for your return flight to Jhb. Flight depart in the afternoon and you will arrive in Jhb approx 16.15
