Pomene Bay Lodge in Mozambiqueis a perfect beach, fishing and scuba diving destination. Hidden away on the unspoiled coast of sub-tropical Mozambique, Pomene Bay Lodge offers an action packed adventure for the serious diving, fishing and outdoor enthusiast.

It is situated on a narrow peninsula with the Indian Ocean lapping at its front doorstep and crystal clear waters of a spectacular mangrove estuary lapping on the other; it has the best of both worlds.

Itinerary in brief

7 nights Scuba Diving Holiday Mozambique

Day 1 Depart from Jhb Int airport with LAM (flights depart every morning) and fly to Inhambane in Mozambique. Flight time is approx 2 hours. On arrival at Inhambane you will be met by our representatives and transfer through to Pomene Bay Lodge. The rest of the day is free to relax and discuss the diving plans with the PADI dive centre at the lodge.
Day 2 - 6 Scuba Diving in Inhambane. 2 scuba dives per day (subject to weather conditions)
Day 7 Your last day at Pomene Bay Lodge to relax before you depart the following morning.
Day 8 The lodge will transfer you directly back to Inhambane airport for your return flight to Jhb. Flight depart in the afternoon and you will arrive in Jhb approx 16.15

Highlights

Scuba diving - PADI dive resort

The diving is world class and is regarded by some as the best diving in Mozambique. The density & variety of marine life is astounding. There are 12 regular dive sites and still many more to be explored. The dive centre provides all scuba equipment, airfills and regular departures to the reefs with depths varying between 8 and 30 metres.
